But to achieve our ultimate mission, we needed our brand to stand out from the competition, particularly in cluttered, multi-brand retail environments. So we created a premium presence to help get customers' attention, as well as inspire and educate them—giving them confidence that Sonos is right for them.

A modular approach

To position ourselves as leaders at retailers like Best Buy and Media Market, we established a commanding presence by creating shop-in-shop experiences in key locations. The modular approach of the display system provides merchandising flexibility for the future and guarantees consistent brand presence for the various predefined partner retail store formats, all with one concise display system.

Differentiated by Multi-room Home Audio

The visual merchandising display system's design is inspired by Sonos' most compelling point of difference: Multi-room Home Audio. Pedestals visualize the modular nature of the Sonos product eco-system. The products merchandised on each pedestal represent a Sonos system solution in a room.

Welcome the customer with an impactful, large-format display that's consistent with the Sonos campaign and that features new product stories.

The Sonos products have a central role in the presentation. The compelling display gives customers the opportunity to play with the products before purchasing.

Connect

Interactive learning

The tablet tells the Sonos story and educates customers, helping them choose the right product for their home. Customers can also listen to various speakers using the Sonos app to get a feel for which Sonos best fits their lifestyle. Based on the products presented, the tablet provides a unique entry point into the Sonos story.

The ultimate Sonos Shop-in-Shop experience

The Experience Room is Sonos' ultimate shop-in-shop presence. Here, customers get an acoustical listening experience similar to the one they'll get in their home. They can truly immerse themselves in Sonos sound and discover the benefits of multi-room home audio.
